The house where it works  was built in 1999 as part of a pilot project developed with the "Amici dei Bambini" Association in Italy.

 

It was the first house  from the network of family-type houses, which included two other houses in Brăila and Măcin, Tulcea County, the first residential project of "Inima pentru Inima" Foundation.

 

The project worked until 2007, when the story of the Day Care Center for school children from Ocnele Mari began here. Since 2007, they have benefited from the services of the day center  over 200 children.
